Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Your group safari begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Arusha, followed by a short safari briefing before departing for Tarangire National Park. The scenic drive takes approximately two to three hours, leading you into a landscape famous for its ancient baobab trees, open savannahs, seasonal swamps, and large elephant herds. Upon arrival, you will enjoy a game drive through the park, with opportunities to spot elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, impalas, and warthogs. Tarangire is also a paradise for bird enthusiasts, with more than 500 recorded bird species. During the dry season, the Tarangire River attracts large concentrations of wildlife, creating excellent viewing opportunities. You will enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing your afternoon wildlife exploration. As you continue towards the Serengeti, the landscape gradually opens into vast grasslands stretching towards the horizon. Upon entering the park, you will begin exploring its wildlife-rich plains, with a picnic lunch arranged during the day. Depending on the season and the movement of the herds, you may encounter the Great Wildebeest Migration, when vast numbers of wildebeest and zebras move across the ecosystem in search of fresh grazing. The Serengeti is also home to lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, giraffes, and numerous other wildlife species. Your afternoon game drive will continue as you make your way towards your campsite in Central Serengeti. In the evening, settle into your budget campsite inside the park, where dinner and an overnight stay await. -
Day 3: Full-Day Wildlife Safari in Serengeti National Park
Spend a full day exploring the remarkable wilderness of Central Serengeti, one of Tanzania's most celebrated wildlife destinations. After an early breakfast, set out on a game drive across the vast plains, searching for lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, and other wildlife. The Seronera region is particularly renowned for its resident big cats and offers rewarding wildlife-viewing opportunities throughout the year. Depending on the season, your guide may also take you to areas where migrating wildebeest and zebras are gathering or moving across the plains. Day 4: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Begin the day with an early morning game drive in Serengeti National Park, when wildlife is often more active and the sunrise illuminates the expansive plains. After exploring the park, return to camp for breakfast before beginning your journey towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, enjoy additional wildlife viewing opportunities as you travel through the changing landscapes between the Serengeti plains and the Ngorongoro Highlands. The journey offers beautiful scenery and the possibility of spotting animals along the route. As you approach Ngorongoro, the terrain becomes greener and more elevated, eventually revealing spectacular views of the volcanic landscape.
