Your guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha at around 8:00 am for the drive to Tarangire National Park, approximately three hours away. Enjoy a full-day game drive through a landscape of baobab trees, open plains and riverine areas. Tarangire is known for its elephants, and you may also see giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo and predators such as lions or leopards. Wildlife sightings can’t be guaranteed, but your guide will help you look for animals throughout the day. The park covers about 2,800 square kilometres and is especially important to wildlife during the dry season, when animals gather near the Tarangire River. After your game drive, continue to your lodge in the Karatu area for dinner and an overnight stay. All meals and drinks are included today, except spirits and liquor.

After breakfast, drive to Serengeti National Park, a journey of approximately four hours. After lunch, enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Central Serengeti, exploring its expansive plains and looking for wildlife such as lions, cheetahs, elephants, buffalo, zebras and wildebeest. Your guide will choose the route based on conditions and recent wildlife activity. In the evening, return to your tented camp in the Serengeti for dinner and an overnight stay. All meals and drinks are included today, except spirits and liquor.

Travel from the Central Serengeti to the Ndutu region, enjoying the changing scenery and looking for wildlife along the way. During the calving season, large numbers of wildebeest gather in Ndutu to give birth. The area’s short-grass plains, woodlands and swamps also attract predators and other wildlife, offering opportunities to observe the natural activity of the ecosystem. After the day’s journey and wildlife viewing, settle into your tented camp in the Ndutu area for dinner and an overnight stay. All meals and drinks are included today, except spirits and liquor.

Spend the day exploring Ndutu on morning and afternoon game drives. Visit areas such as Lake Ndutu, Hidden Valley and the surrounding marshes, where wildlife gathers and predators may be active. During the calving season, you may see young wildebeest and observe the interactions between predators and prey, though sightings depend on wildlife movements. Return to camp in the evening after a full day in the field. If conditions allow, enjoy a sundowner in the wilderness before dinner and your overnight stay. All meals and drinks are included today, except spirits and liquor.

After breakfast, drive from Ndutu to the Ngorongoro Crater, a journey of approximately two hours. Descend to the crater floor for a game drive among its varied habitats. Look for wildlife including lions, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest and hyenas. Black rhinos also live in the crater, though they can be difficult to spot. Enjoy a picnic lunch during the game drive, then ascend from the crater and continue to Arusha for your onward departure or an optional overnight stay. Breakfast and lunch are included today, along with drinks except spirits and liquor. Dinner and accommodation are not included.
