Tour Plan

  • Day 1: Lake Manyara National Park
Your safari begins with a morning pickup from your hotel at 8:00 AM, followed by a scenic journey across the Great Rift Valley to Lake Manyara National Park. Despite its relatively small size, the park boasts remarkable scenery, including lush acacia woodlands, towering fig trees, and mahogany forests. During your game drive, look out for large troops of baboons, blue monkeys, elephants, giraffes, impalas, and buffaloes. Lake Manyara also attracts hippos and numerous bird species, while its picturesque landscapes provide excellent opportunities for wildlife photography, particularly along the lakeshore. Depending on availability and your interests, optional activities such as guided cycling excursions or boat trips may also be possible. In the afternoon, you will leave the park and head to a luxury lodge overlooking the surrounding landscape, where you can enjoy dinner and relax overnight.
  • Day 2: Journey to Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast, you will depart for Serengeti National Park, travelling through the beautiful landscapes of Tanzania's Northern Circuit. Although the journey is long, it offers spectacular scenery as you approach the vast plains that give the Serengeti its name, often translated as the endless plains. This world-famous park is home to an extraordinary variety of wildlife and is renowned for the Great Wildebeest Migration, when vast herds of wildebeest and zebras move across the ecosystem in search of fresh grazing. During your journey and game drives, you may encounter lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, and numerous antelope species. Migration sightings depend on the season and the herds' movements. Upon arrival in Central Serengeti, you will continue exploring the park's wildlife-rich landscapes before heading to a comfortable mid-range tented camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
  • Day 3: Full-Day Wildlife Safari in Serengeti National Park
Spend a full day exploring the remarkable wilderness of Serengeti National Park, with the schedule tailored to your interests and wildlife-viewing opportunities. You may begin with an early morning game drive, when many animals are active and the soft morning light creates excellent conditions for photography. Return to camp for lunch and some time to relax before heading out for an afternoon game drive. Alternatively, you can enjoy a full-day safari with a picnic lunch in the park, allowing more time to explore different areas of the Serengeti. Your experienced guide will help you search for lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, buffaloes, and other wildlife while sharing insights into their behaviour and the ecosystem. Depending on the season, you may also have opportunities to encounter migrating herds of wildebeest and zebras. After an exciting day in the wilderness, return to your mid-range tented camp for dinner and another peaceful night in the Serengeti.
  • Day 4: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro
Rise early for a morning game drive across the Serengeti plains, when wildlife is often more active and the sunrise creates a spectacular backdrop for photography. Continue searching for predators and other wildlife before returning to camp for brunch. Afterward, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying scenic views and further wildlife encounters along the way. Your destination is the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, a vast volcanic caldera surrounded by steep walls and supporting an extraordinary diversity of wildlife. Its varied habitats include open grasslands, forests, wetlands, and a soda lake that attracts flamingos and other waterbirds. The crater is also one of Tanzania's best places to look for the endangered black rhinoceros, while its elephants are renowned for their impressive tusks. You will arrive at a luxury lodge on the crater rim in time to relax and enjoy the spectacular surroundings before dinner and an overnight stay.
  • Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive and Return to Arusha
Begin your final safari day with an early breakfast before descending into the Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable game drive. The crater floor offers exceptional wildlife-viewing opportunities, with chances to encounter lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, and spotted hyenas. Keep an eye out for the endangered black rhinoceros as your guide explores the crater's diverse habitats. You will also visit the vicinity of the hippo pool and Lake Magadi, where hippos and a variety of waterbirds may be seen. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the designated area before continuing with a short afternoon game drive. Later, ascend the crater walls and leave the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for the drive back to Arusha. Arrival is expected at approximately 5:00 PM, although the schedule can be adjusted where possible to accommodate onward travel arrangements. Your safari concludes upon arrival in Arusha.
