Tour Plan
-
Day 1: Zanzibar to the Central Serengeti
Your transfer to Zanzibar Airport will begin at around 6:00 am, with the pick-up time depending on your hotel’s location. Board your 8:00 am flight to the Serengeti. On arrival at Seronera Airstrip at approximately 10:40 am, meet your safari guide and set out on a game drive in the Central Serengeti. Explore the plains and river areas, looking for elephants, hippos, giraffes, crocodiles, zebras and wildebeest. The region also supports lions, leopards, cheetahs and many bird species. Enjoy lunch at a picnic site inside the park, then continue your game drive into the evening. Afterwards, head to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay. Lunch and dinner are included; breakfast is not. Non-alcoholic drinks are provided. -
Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater and flight to Zanzibar
Depart from camp at around 6:00 am and drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. After reaching the crater, descend for a game drive and picnic lunch. Look for wildlife such as lions, buffalo, elephants, zebras and hyenas. Black rhinos live in the crater but can be difficult to spot; flamingos and other birds may be seen around the lakes, depending on conditions. After your crater visit, drive to Arusha Airport for your 4:30 pm flight to Zanzibar, scheduled to arrive at around 5:30 pm. On arrival, a transfer will take you to your hotel. Breakfast and lunch are included; dinner is not. Non-alcoholic drinks are provided.
