Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, a member of Sakey Safaris team will greet you and transfer you to your chosen Hotel/Lodge in Arusha. A comprehensive briefing for your upcoming trek will be provided in the evening, ensuring you are well-prepared for the Kilimanjaro adventure.

Early breakfast, depart for Londorosi Gate, register, and have a picnic lunch. Begin the 7 km, 3.5-4 hours walk to Mti Mkubwa Camp, reaching 2,650 meters.

Depart at 08:00, ascend from 2,650 to 3,610 meters. Walk through moorland, enjoy views of Shira Plateau and Kibo. Reach Shira 1 Camp by 13:00.

Start at 08:00, ascend to 3,850 meters. Walk 7 km in 3.5-4 hours, enjoying moor and heathland. Arrive at Shira 2 Camp by 13:00.

Depart at 08:30, cover 14 km in 6.5-7 hours, reaching 4,200 meters at Moir Hut Camp via Lava Tower.

Climb out of Moir Valley, summit Lent Hills at 4,375 meters, and reach Buffalo Camp (4,020 meters) in 7 hours.

Climb to ‘Buffalo Ridge’, cross ridges, and gullies. Reach Third Cave Camp at 3,800 meters in 6 hours.

Easy path over the “saddle” to School Hut (4,800 meters) in 5 hours, preparing for the summit.

Summit day starts at 23:00, reaching Uhuru Peak (5,895 meters) by 07:00. Descend to Mweka Camp (3,100 meters), covering 17 km in 13 hours.

Breakfast at 07:00, reward your team at 08:00. Depart at 09:00, descend to Mweka Gate, served lunch, receive your certificate. Return to Arusha for relaxation or celebration.

Accommodation: At your chosen Hotel/Lodge on a bed and breakfast basis.

Hiking time and Elevation: 3 hours, from Mweka Camp (3,100 m) to Mweka Gate (1,640 m)
