Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, a member of Sakey Safaris team will greet you and transfer you to your chosen Hotel/Lodge in Arusha. A comprehensive briefing for your upcoming trek will be provided in the evening, ensuring you are well-prepared for the Kilimanjaro adventure.

Early breakfast at 07.00, departure at 08.00. Arrive at Nalemuru Gate by 12.00, picnic lunch, and start trekking. Reach Simba Camp by 17.00, covering 7 km in approximately 3 hours. Dinner at 19.00.

Late breakfast at 08.00, departure at 09.00. Short walking day of 3.5 to 4 hours, covering just over 3 km. Ascend from Kikelewa Camp (3,600 m) to Mawenzi Tarn Camp (4,315 m). Lunch at 13.00. Dinner at 18.00.

Acclimatization day. Breakfast and hike to Mawenzi Ridge (4,389 m) for 2 hours. Lunch at the ridge, then return to Mawenzi Tarn Camp. Dinner at 18.00.

Breakfast at 07.00, departure at 08.00. Trek for 5 hours, covering 9 km, ascending from Mawenzi Tarn Camp (4,315 m) to Kibo Camp (4,720 m). Picnic lunch at midday. Early dinner at 17.30. Early bedtime for summit day.

Summit day. Start at 23.00, tea and biscuits at 23.30, midnight departure. Climb 1,192 meters with 13 hours of walking time, covering 21 km. Reach Uhuru Peak from 07.00 onwards. Descend to Kibo Camp for a two-hour rest and lunch. Continue to Horombo Camp, arriving at 17.00. Dinner at 19.00.

Accommodation: Horombo Camp Hiking time and Elevation: 13 hours, Kibo Camp (4,703 m) – Uhuru Peak (5,895 m) to Horombo Camp (3,720 m)

Breakfast at 07.00, ‘Tipping Celebration’ for guides and porters. Depart from Horombo, stop at Mandara for lunch, reach Marangu Gate by 16.00. Certificate presentation. Return to Arusha for an overnight stay.

Accommodation: at your chosen Hotel/Lodge. Hiking time and Elevation: 7 hours, from Horombo Camp (3,720 m) to Marangu Gate (1,879 m)

Check-out by 11.00. Transfer to the airport for departure.
