Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, a representative from Sakey Safaris will warmly welcome you and transfer you to the comfortable at your chosen Hotel/Lodge. The evening will be dedicated to a comprehensive trek briefing, ensuring you are fully prepared for the upcoming adventure.

After an early breakfast, you head to Marangu Gate, starting point of the Marangu Route. The trek begins through lush rainforests with a chance for wildlife sightings. The day concludes at Mandara Hut (2,720 m), offering dormitory-style accommodation.

Embark on a scenic trek with a climb of 1,000 meters, passing through Maundi Crater and enjoying panoramic views. Reach Horombo Hut (3,720 m) for an overnight stay in A-frame huts.

An acclimatization day involves a hike to Mawenzi Ridge (4,389 m) for stunning vistas. Return to Horombo Hut for the night.

Ascend further to Kibo Hut (4,703 m) with changing landscapes and your first glimpses of Kilimanjaro’s cones. Prepare for the summit attempt with an early dinner.

Begin the challenging ascent to Uhuru Peak (5,895 m) at midnight. Celebrate at the summit, then descend to Kibo Hut and further to Horombo Hut for a well-deserved rest.

Descend to Marangu Gate, receive your certificate, and return to Arusha. Enjoy a comfortable stay at your chosen Hotel/Lodge, celebrating your Kilimanjaro achievement.
